100 of the world’s most notable Fortnite players will compete on December 30 for a share of more than $100,000 in front of a live audience.

Fresh off an epic WSOE 2: The Hearthstone Showdown, ESP Gaming announces WSOE 3 Featuring Fortnite, the next entry in the fight-card style tournament series that will crown the first ever WSOE Fortnite Champion. The event will take place on December 30 at OGN Studios in Manhattan Beach, California and feature 100 of the world’s best players, battling it out for a share of more than $100,000. The event will also be open to the public, making it the WSOE’s first live audience.

The event will feature 50 pro Fortnite players from dominant esports teams such as OpTic Gaming, Cloud9, TSM, NRG Esports, Ghost Gaming, FlyQuest, GankStars, G2 Esports, and Team Vitality. An additional 50 players sourced from the community will take part in the tournament via open qualifiers, which are scheduled to take place on December 27 at OGN Studios. Players interested in competing in the qualifiers can sign up online.

ESP Gaming’s Richard Lewis will host the event alongside well-known Fortnite commentators and influencers Jon Kefaloukos, Alex “Goldenboy” Mendez, Troy “2LoudTX” Tuttle, and Javier “MonsterDFace” Collazo. Fan favorites Lauren Jbara and Lisa “Lucy Mae” Malambri will return as reporters.

WSOE 3 featuring Fortnite will stream live on December 30 with a pre-show at 9:30 am PST and gameplay starting at 10:00 a.m. PST on Twitch (http://twitch.tv/wsoe).
