General Information

On Saturday, March 30th and Sunday, March 31st, four returning contenders from WSOE 2: The Hearthstone Showdown will battle it out in a double-elimination bracket with a best of 5 series, Last Hero Standing format. The winner of this contender’s bracket will earn the right to play against our reigning champion, Jia, for $15,000 in our Championship Match! We have also invited several veteran tournament players to participate in fight card showmatches on Day 2 of the event.

Show begins 9:45 a.m. Pacific on Saturday, March 30 and on Sunday, March 31 with competition starting at 10 a.m. both days.

Day 1 Schedule (Bracket):

  • 10:15 am – 11:45 am: Songbird vs Alliestrasza
  • 10:30 am – 12:00 pm: Slysssa vs Pathra
  • 12:00 pm – 1:30 pm: Upper Finals
  • 12:15 pm – 1:45 pm: Lower Quarterfinals
  • 1:45 pm – 2:15 pm: Halftime
  • 2:15 pm – 3:45 pm: Lower Finals
  • 3:45 pm – 5:15 pm: Finals (no series reset)

Day 2 Schedule (Fight Card):

  • 10:15 am – 11:45 am: 2nd place vs 4th place from Day 1
  • 11:45 am – 1:15 pm: 2nd place vs 3rd place from Day 1
  • 1:15 pm – 2:45 pm: Showmatch: Reynad vs Zalae
  • 2:45 pm – 4:15 pm: Showmatch: JustSaiyan vs Amnesiac
  • 4:15 pm – 5:45 pm: Championship Match Jia vs Day 1 Winner

Talent Line-up

Format – Bracket, Fight Card, Championship Match

  • Day 1 (March 30) – 4-person, double-elimination bracket with best of 5 series matches in Last Hero Standing format. 7 decks submitted, with a deck draft before each match (blind ban, blind pick, blind ban, blind pick, blind ban, pick from remaining 2 decks). The winner of this bracket advances to face Jia in the Championship Match on Day 2.
  • Day 2 (March 31) – 4 stand-alone fight card matches of the same format featuring players from WSOE 5 and special invited tournament veterans! The final match of the event will be Jia vs the top contender from Day 1, following the same format.
