Team Serenity | Dominate the Ladder, Dominate the LAN!
Team Serenity was formed only about a year ago, with its current all-Chinese roster finalized in March 2018. Many of their players have notoriety as ladder grinders or “pubstars” on the China server, with zhizhizhi reaching rarified air of 9,000 MMR in 2017.
This team was a dark horse at The International 2018, but they managed to place 9th-12th among stiff competition and their current rosters has the most TI8 competitors of any squad attending WSOE 1. For this event, they are joined by SanSheng, a former TI champion from 2014 and coach for Newbee at TI8.
Recently, Team Serenity has been struggling against its Chinese competition. They came close to qualifying for DreamLeague Season 10, but lost to Royal Never Give Up in the Finals. They also failed to exit the qualifiers for ESL One Hamburg, losing two separate matches to Newbee. Team Serenity looks to at least establish China as #1 in international competition as they represent their region this weekend at WSOE 1!
